What exists today
THATCHED Convert is a website, not an API. You upload a PDF or scan in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, English, and download an editable Word file and an Excel file. Each file can be up to 15 MB and 40 pages.
What we plan (no dates)
- An API for the same conversion: send a PDF, get Word and Excel back.
- Plain-text OCR output for the languages we support.
- More Indian languages, added one at a time and only after we have tested them.
We will not promise a date until something works. When it does, it will appear in the changelog.
